Version 13.0.12 (November 2020) provides stability and performance improvements along with bug fixes.
Fixed issues in Adobe Audition version 13.0.12
Clip fade envelopes might fail to draw when manipulated if multiple clips are selected vertically and horizontally.
If a clip is relinked to a clip of a different channelization and merged in Multitrack, it might crash upon playing.
Fixed issues in Adobe Audition version 13.0.11
Effects Rack buttons might be misaligned or truncated.
The application might crash after clicking Stop in Timed Record Mode if the playhead goes out of the editor panel time range.
Following drawing issues with macOS 11 are now fixed:
Peak files might have inaccuracies in the multitrack.
When spectral view is moved there might be redrawing issues.
Waveform drawing might be incorrect if there's a selection and the user switch out and then back into Audition.
There might be issues with artifacts on waveform when making selections.

Link Media
This feature allows you to relink files and associated session clips using the Files Panel without having to search for your offline clips in the Editor View. All clips which reference the media of the file will be relinked to the new media. When opening Sessions with offline media, offline files will be created to offer relink functionality for the corresponding Session Clips.
With this update of Adobe Audition, you can relink offline media by:
Selecting the offline item in the Files Panel in order to select new media and relink all associated clips of the Session
Or from the Opening Files dialog when media is missing
Note:
The context menu entry, Link All Media Clip has been replaced with the Relink Media context menu in the Files Panel.

Default audio device switching for macOS
Select System Default when selecting audio input and output devices in Audition to use the device that is currently in use by the operating system. The device will automatically switch when new devices are plugged in or connected. This feature is also available in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Character Animator, AME and Premiere Rush on macOS.

Punch and roll recording
This record mode allows you to record audio using the punch and roll technique with pre-roll, visual countdown, and Punch Again functionality. If you made a mistake while recording audio, this feature allows you to correct mistakes and continue recording without interruption.

Zoom to selected clip
Quickly zoom to the time range of one or more selected clips using the Zoom menu command. In the Multitrack Editor, choose Zoom > Zoom To Selected Clips.

Auto-ducking ambience sound
You can now auto duck ambience sound for a more seamless editing experience. While working on a project, automatically generate a volume envelope to duck ambience sound behind dialogue, sound effects, or any other audio clip using the Ducking parameter in the Essential Sound panel.

Nudge clip up and down
You can now nudge a clip up and down using keyboard shortcuts. Freely move selected clips without taking your hands away from the keyboard.

Multitrack clip improvements [NEW]
When recording punch-ins or layering sounds, clip Z-order is now maintained when selecting stacked clips so that smaller clips don’t get lost behind longer ones. Commands in the clip content menu make it easy to move clips to the front or back, and preferences allow users to customize the behavior. More improvements allow for symmetrical clip fades, or adjusting fade curves or duration independently.
Support for Mackie HUI capable devices [NEW]
This release of Audition includes support for the Mackie HUI control surface protocol. To control your mix, transport, and automation in Audition, use HUI emulation mode with almost all modern control surfaces..
Dynamic effects [NEW]
A new, modern version of the classic but discontinued Adobe Premiere Pro Dynamics audio effect has been introduced to Audition and Premiere Pro CC. This simple yet powerful plug-in offers a compressor, expander, limiter, and noise gate in one easy-to-use tool.
Input monitoring [NEW]
Input monitoring allows you to preview the input coming from your recording device before starting the actual recording by either observing the level meters or listening to it.
Timecode overlay [NEW]
This release of Audition lets you view session and media timecode overlays in the Video panel. You can also lock your video output to your external display. The timecode overlay displays the current time display string as an overlay on the Video panel and the video fullscreen monitor.

With the latest release of Creative Cloud, getting started in Audition CC is easier than ever. With a new panel for audio newbies, you can quickly get up to speed with key skills and best practices for getting the most out of Audition. Access deeply integrated tutorial walkthroughs without ever leaving the application. If you don’t see the panel automatically, find it in the help menu.
This release also brings a new User Interface. You’ll see this gorgeous, flat UI in our updates, but expect the experience to unify the look-and-feel of Adobe’s tools across the spectrum, from desktop to mobile and web. With all-new vector-based icons, the UI elements should look sharp at any display resolution.
A peek behind the curtain would expose a lot of goings-on with effect plug-ins. Not only will you see updates to many of our classic plug-ins to fully support High DPI displays, but the audio team has shared several Audition-only audio effects with Premiere Pro including Adaptive Noise Reduction, Parametric EQ, Automatic Click Removal, Studio Reverb, and even the top-tier Dynamics Processing compressor/expander. Video editors will now be able to drop these effects on their clips without leaving the comfort of their NLE timeline.

Audition CS6 5.0.2 update patch released. Bug fixes, Windows 8 compatibility.
This update, version 5.0.2 for Mac and Windows, fixes several bugs discovered after release that could not be fixed in time for the earlier patch, and cleans up a few odds and ends to ensure Audition is fully compatible for use on Windows 8. Briefly, here are the primary bug fixes:

• Several scenarios where crossfade changes could corrupt a session were addressed.
• Closing a session without exiting the rewire app no longer causes Adobe Audition to save a blank session.
• Undo no longer becomes disabled after undoing the creation of unique copies of two crossfaded clips.
• Crossfaded clips no longer disappear after undoing move clips.
• Canceling VST scan no longer causes Adobe Audition to become unstable.
• If a selection existed, a full session mixdown would only process MIDI data through the end of the selection.
• The Open MIDI dialog box was not completely modal and could cause a crash.
• MIDI Host had problems with some Spectrasonics VSTi instruments, where it wouldn't show the entire UI.
• CD burning would sometimes create a corrupted disk but still report a successful burn.
• Applying the Clip/Pop Eliminator no longer crashes the application.
• Crash recovery is now more reliable when using Auto-Save For Recovery.
• When the application detects the possible saving failure that causes a corrupted session, a warning dialog box now appears so users can retry the save.
• Transport controls are no longer disabled if a new session is opened without closing the existing session.
• Crossfades will now retain their original shape when clips are moved and the session is reopened.
